Italian co-production and production services.
Italy and Bulgaria
Less overhead. More on screen.
Italy — Tax Credit up to 40%
A national film and audiovisual tax credit of up to 40% on eligible production spend in Italy, subject to the cultural test and current Ministry of Culture rules. We structure the Italian budget, manage the application and reporting process, and combine the national credit with regional and other forms of support where available. Caps, eligibility requirements and timing apply.

The Bulgaria Option
Italy stays at the centre when the story, the look or the brand has to be Italian. Bulgaria is the option we open when the same film needs scale, studio time or another landscape — without changing producer, method or reporting line. Through our associated company Feja Film in Sofia, Italy and Bulgaria run as one corridor: one budget, one schedule, one interface.
Bulgaria — 25% cash rebate on eligible local spend for features, high-end series, documentaries and animation. Cultural test, minimum spend and project criteria apply; the rebate is capped per project and by the annual programme budget. We stack the Italian credit, the Bulgarian rebate and the labour/construction saving under one production plan.
Two Ways In
Europe is not only a location. It is a financing territory. Co-production is a fit, not a default, where a second European territory would help, we can introduce producers we already work with.
Service
When you only need to shoot. Full Italian production services, one point of contact, full compliance and crew.
Co-production
When you also need the soft money, and when the film can carry it. We look at the story, the audience and the financing structure together.
IDEACINEMA is a Rome-based film and television company, founded in 2004 by Claudio Saraceni and run today by his sons Federico and Jacopo. The family has been producing since 1952. Claudio (Rome, 1943–2025) made Italian commercial hits, including several Fantozzi films, and worked with Fellini, Tornatore, Wertmüller and other major directors.
Today the brothers lead an independent company across commercial cinema, auteur films, animation, series and international co-productions, and take incoming pictures to Italy as service producer or as Italian co-producer.
